December 2004 - Lawyers and General Counsel: what relationships in the French market?
DAY ONE conducted this "mirror survey" in partnerhip with “La lettre des juristes d'affaires” and the Montesquieu Association (French Association of Large Company General Counsels).
Who were interviewed? 21 Managing Partners of Top 50 Law firms in France. 40 General Counsels of France's Top 250 corporate companies. What are the main results? 1. "Expertise", "personalization" and "public relations" are the three fundamental criteria which govern General Counsel and Lawyers relationships. 2. "Multidisciplinary" must concede to "multi-competences". 3. Purchase Directors launched the organization of panels "Buying lawyer services". 4.
